Pseudo Jason Voorhees Actor Dick Wieand Making Fan Appearance This October!

As the Friday The 13th franchise ages, the acceptance of the fifth film continues to grow. Friday The 13th: A New Beginning boasts possibly the most ecclectic group of characters to ever appear in a single film, which are all brought together by the vengeful hand of psycho paramedic Roy Burns. Actor Dick Wieand was tasked with introducing the fans to the character that would eventually be revealed as the masked murderer of the residents of Pinehurst halfway house (including it's surrounding area) and left fans with an uneasy feeling that there is something more to this guy than just showing up to cart away dead bodies. You can now meet Dick soon at an upcoming Monster Mania horror convention this October!

Dick will join fellow alumni Kane Hodder (Jason Voorhees: Part VII, Part VIII, Jason Goes To Hell, Jason X) and C.J. Graham (Jason Voorhees: Part VI) at the convention in Hunt Valley, Maryland the weekend of October 4-6, 2019. For ticket information, please visit www.monstermania.net.

About The Film
Jason is back, hockey mask and all. And he's up to his old maniacal tricks in Friday the 13th Part V -- A New Beginning. This time he seems to have set his sights on the young patients at a secluded halfway house. And more than a few of his teen targets end up in half, in quarters ... you name it, Jason does it.

This is the fifth scary installment in the Friday the 13th saga. If you liked the the first four, and think you're up to getting back on Jason's bloody trail, you'll love Friday the 13th Part V -- A New Beginning.
