Tom Savini Documentary World Premier In September!
The new documentary Smoke and Mirrors: The Story Of Tom Savini was first reported by us back in February 2011 and since then not a lot of information has surfaced about the production or when the film will be released. of course, then a huge bit of news was dropped on us suddenly as now the new documentary will be debuting next month! Read on for the official synopsis of the film as well as where it will be having its world premier.
About The Documentary
The first ever feature length documentary about the life and career of famed special makeup artist Tom Savini. Know as the “King of Splatter”, Tom’s work revolutionized an industry with such movies as FRIDAY the 13TH, CREEPSHOW, and DAWN OF THE DEAD. But these facts are misdirection, as the film delves into Tom’s personal triumphs and failings, revealing the man behind the mask.
