New Tommy Jarvis Alien Mask Bust

Artist Eric Scherer made a bold decision last year to create a truly unique bust from the Friday the 13th film franchise and it was something that not many casual fans of the series had ever seen. He decided to create the Hell Demon that was cut from the final print of Jason Goes To Hell!

The bust was first reported by this writer last August on another website and recently written about again for this website a few weeks ago. Eric really captured the look of the demon and made a very big buzz in the mask collecting community. Now, he is back with another unique and awesome piece... "A boy and his mask".

This bust is made entirely of real latex and depicts Tommy Jarvis from Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter. Notice the detailing of Tommy's jacket  and shirt near the base of the mask as well as his hair sticking out of the back. The Alien mask that is detailed on this bust was also used less than a year later for the production of Friday the 13th: A New Beginning. An older Tommy Jarvis took the mask with him to Pinehurst and had to use it to teach Reggie "the reckless" a lesson.

The Alien mask used in both films was solely created by effects legend Alec Gillis over one night, according to Tom Savini! Enjoy the photos below, which Eric posted at TheHMA.net, and let us know what you think of his work. Would you buy one of these for your collection?
