New Costume Test Images Of Kane Hodder From Friday The 13th Part VII: The New Blood Surface

 Almost forty years later and fans are still lucky enough to be provided with rare and unseen behind the scenes images from the Friday The 13th films. Recently, some wildly exciting images were posted on a new Instagram account called campbloodarchives and it is showcasing some great costume test images of Kane Hodder in the Jason Voorhees costume for Friday The 13th Part VII: The New Blood. 

The images were acquired from the late John Carl Buechler, who directed The New Blood. These images were digitally scanned from the original photos taken during the production of the film. Below are some extraordinary, and sometimes intimate, photos of Kane in different poses, including some rarely seen close-ups of Jason's face without the goalie mask.

Perhaps the most interesting photo shows Kane posing with an actor portraying the decayed Mr. Shepard, which was how the character was originally supposed to look near the end of the film, as he jumps through the dock to save Tina from Jason.
