'On location in Blairstown: The Making of Friday the 13th' Release Date


It has a been a few months since Author David Grove updated fans on the status of his new and highly anticipated book that chronicles the making of Friday The 13th 1980. On location in Blairstown: The Making of Friday the 13th will go into painstaking detail with regards to the circumstances surrounding the evolution of the original film from conception to the final product seen in theaters. The book promises many firsts for fans including the appearance of never before seen photos and promotional material and information never discussed before, straight from the people that worked on the film.

To this point, David has been letting us in on certain parts of the book and what fans can expect to see and read. With the completion of the book near, we have been informed that the book will be released sometime in October of this year by Plexus Publishing Limited. This is great news as now our readers can start to plan to purchase this comprehensive look at the original Friday The 13th slasher that started it all. We also need your help. David has asked a big favor of the fans.

I wanted to ask you, and the fans, of what kind of cover you'd like to see for the book.  Would you like to see the old block letter design, a behind the scenes picture on the cover, a scene from the film, or a design similar to the theatrical poster?  Love to hear suggestions.
