Jason X Marine Signed For HBO's True Blood

Not too many actors who appeared in Jason X went on to appear in major Hollywood films or television shows, but many of them did go on to have solid careers on Canadian television shows, and as is the case with Lexa Doig, she has carved out quite the niche in Sci-Fi shows such as Andromeda and V. One actor did find their way into Hollywood fair and has a very commanding presence on screen.

Reported by Deadline.com yesterday, Peter Mensah (Brodski, Jason X) has just been signed onto the ultra popular vampire series True Blood.

Peter Mensah will join True Blood in a recurring role as Kibwe, Chancellor for the Authority. Originally from Africa, Kibwe works toward mainstreaming under Roman’s tenure. In addition to previous and current incarnations of Spartacus on Starz, Mensah has appeared in films including Zack Snyder’s 300, Antoine Fuqua’s Tears Of The Sun, Touchstone Pictures’ Hidalgo and James Cameron’s Avatar. His television credits include Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Witchblade, The Pretender and Star Trek: Enterprise.
