From Chiller TV
Horror films have been a staple of the movie industry for years, a genre that always endures and is responsible for some of the most memorable movie moments in history. Tastes may change and fads will come and go, but the horror film is forever.

This two-hour event will delve into the compelling mysteries at the heart of the horror genre. Narrated by Linda Hamilton and featuring commentary from greatest horror storytellers of all time, including John Carpenter, Wes Craven, George Romero, Anne Rice, Alan Ball and John Landis, The Future of Fear will take a look back at where horror has taken us, its place in mainstream American culture and what’s on the horizon for one of the most enduring and popular genres of all time.

Along the way we’ll examine the enduring appeal of the old-fashioned horror icons (vampires and zombies), international horror movements and how horror has also invaded our TV screens.

Tune into Chiller TV 9PM EST on Dish network channel 199 and DirectTV.

  1. This sounds pretty cool. But I don't get this channel. Hopefully I can watch on Hulu or something.
