Friday the 13th Blu-Ray Release Updates

Last week we brought you news on a new release of Friday the 13th 2009 on Blu-Ray. This release will be a single disc only and it is not known if it will contain any new content or the digital copy of the film that accompanied the 2009 release. The other film we mentioned was a possible Blu-Ray release of Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter.

Since last week, we have followed up on these developments and found that High-Def Digest also has Friday the 13th 2009 listed for release on August 16, 2011. You can also Pre-Order the disc at Amazon right now! As for The Final Chapter, we were told that it was thought to be on Paramount's future release schedule, but that is being rechecked at this time. The film was not listed on High-Def Digest's future release schedule, so it is looking more unlikely that the film will have a release in the near future.
