Win A Camp Tour Experience At The Actual Friday The 13th Filming Location In New Jersey!

The New Jersey Division of Travel and Tourism (with the New Jersey Motion Picture and Television Commission) recently launched New Jersey Film Trails, a site dedicated to exploring filming locations in New Jersey. As part of the site's Spooky Season Trail, audio entertainment company Audacy will be running a sweepstakes for a Friday the 13th / Camp Crystal Lake experience.

Entry opens October 5, 2026, and runs through October 29, with a winner selected on October 30. Exact entry information is not yet available but is expected via Audacy (tied to a multiplatform campaign with Johnny Mingione of NEW 102.7 in New York) and the Film Trails hub.

Grand prize: An overnight stay in New Jersey plus a Crystal Lake Tours experience at Camp No-Be-Bo-Sco in Hardwick (the private Scout camp where most of the original 1980 Friday the 13th was filmed, standing in for Camp Crystal Lake). It includes access to the real lake, dining gift cards for Film Trail spots such as Rutt’s Hut (Seen in the new Crystal Lake series), Blairstown Diner, and passes to local attractions including Six Flags Great Adventure.

Runner-up: A 4-pack of Six Flags Great Adventure passes.

The broader Spooky Season Trail highlights New Jersey locations from Friday the 13th, The Amityville Horror, and I Saw the TV Glow, with suggested stops like the Blairstown Diner, Rutt’s Hut, and the Sunken Garden at Georgian Court University. Film Trails also includes a Holiday & Family Feel-Good Trail and a Fall in Love Trail, with maps and itineraries on the VisitNJ.org Film Trails hub.

Camp No-Be-Bo-Sco remains an active private Scout camp and is not open to the public outside official Crystal Lake Tours dates. Separate paid tours and VIP overnight experiences (not part of this sweepstakes) are scheduled in October 2026 and on Friday, November 13, 2026.
