Fortnitemares 2025, Fortnite's annual Halloween event, is set to kick off tomorrow on October 9, 2025, with a hotfix update around 6 AM EDT. This year's spooky season is packed with horror crossovers, and one of the biggest highlights is the long-awaited Jason Voorhees integration from the Friday the 13th franchise. Based on leaks and official teasers, here's everything confirmed or heavily rumored about Jason's role in the event.

Jason Skin: 

- Playable outfit in Item Shop (~1,800–2,000 V-Bucks) with hockey mask, machete, pickaxe, and emote.  

- High-demand Item Shop drop; reactive mask that "bleeds" on elims.

Boss & Medallion: 

- Defeating Jason as an NPC boss will drop the Jason Voorhees Medallion, granting stealth-based perks like reduced footstep noise, increased sneak attack damage, or temporary invisibility in foliage—fitting his silent killer vibe.

Boss Location: 

Jason will spawn as a roaming boss on the main Battle Royale island, possibly near watery or forested POIs (e.g., a Crystal Lake-inspired area). Taking him down triggers a mini-event with environmental hazards like rising fog or undead minions.
