Zachary Branch Is Adult Jason Voorhees In Crystal Lake Series

 A few days ago, we wrote a story about a few actors that have been rumored to play adult Jason Voorhees in the upcoming A24 and Peacock series Crystal Lake. The Friday The 13th prequel series will feature Pamela Voorhees in 1971 as she navigates events that lead up to the drowning of her son Jason and the eventual repercussions that take place. Today we can confirm who is indeed portraying the menacing adult Jason in Season 1 of Crystal Lake.

Zachary Branch is your new adult Jason Voorhees and now joins the previously announced Callum Vinson, who is the younger child version of the Jason character in the series. Zachary has recently appeared in Apple's series Monarch: Legacy Of Monsters along with CBS's Blue Bloods where he has performed stunt work as well.

Schuler White, who was previously mentioned to be in talks to play adult Jason for the show, was not confirmed to portray Jason in the series at this time. He has, however, been rumored to be the man playing Mr. Voorhees in the Jason Universe short film/vignette Sweet Revenge.

Crystal Lake is currently in production and filming in West Milford and Ringwood, New Jersey.

The new Friday The 13th series is run by Brad Caleb Kane and produced by Horror Inc., Marc Toberoff and Victor Miller (Friday 13th LLC). The series is filming this Summer and is being produced by A24 and distributed on the Peacock streaming service. Check back for more news when it is announced.
