Friday The 13th Vignette Film 'Sweet Revenge' Releases New Trailer

It may not be a feature length film (that is coming in the near future), but I am extremely excited to see Jason Voorhees in an officially released film for the first time in many, many years. Debuting Friday night, Jason Universe unveiled the trailer for Sweet Revenge!

The 13-minute film will debut on August 13th.

Fans will drop into a chilling weekend in the woods filled with blood-soaked surprises only Jason can deliver

The new short form vignette film is being directed by Mike P. Nelson (Wrong Turn and Silent Night, Deadly Night reboots) and is "sponsored" by Angry Orchard Hard Cider. The new short film started production earlier this month and will debut on the Jason Universe Youtube channel as well as the Angry Orchard hosted site this August. 

This collaboration between Angry Orchard and Jason Universe is an interesting step forward for the branding, marketing, and merchandising of Jason Voorhees that Horror Inc. promised in May of 2024.
