Jason Universe San Diego Comic Con Panel Roundup

 We waited patiently for the Jason Universe panel to begin last night in hopes of hearing discussions for upcoming projects and hopefully get some glimpses of either the Crystal Lake series or the new Sweet Revenge vignette short film. We did get some encouraging news about upcoming projects and a new trailer!

Thanks to Hunter Boldin, who attended the panel, we learned the following:

- Robert Barsamian (Horror Inc.) says after 45 years, they want another 45 years of Jason, they’re listening to fans and take their opinions into account. He says be patient with what they’re doing.

- Robbie Barsamian (Robert Jr.) says a new movie and a new game are coming from Jason Universe.

- The first look at the Crystal Lake series showed off the sets they’re filming on, and some of the practical effects used in the show. It shows off more of the actual town. But no look at Pamela Voorhees or any of the principal characters

- The new mask was shown by Sherri Conn (below)

- The new teaser trailer for Sweet Revenge was debuted (subsequently released online and can be seen on our site)

The panel was informative and does give some hope to the future of the franchise. The big winner of the night, however, was the teaser trailer.
