Actor Chris Gauthier (Shack) From Freddy vs Jason Has Passed Away
Sad news coming in today as actor Chris Gauthier has passed away. Chris gave a short, but memorable performance as the character Shack in Freddy vs Jason. His hilarious interaction with Jason Voorhees during the corn field rave scene is always talked about among fans of both Friday The 13th and A Nightmare On Elm Street.
Chris had a long and successful career in film and television. Most recently, he starred in a number of Hallmark Christmas films, but he had an extensive career in television. He starred for several years on the ABC show Once Upon A Time as well as short stints on popular shows like Smallville, Psych, and iZombie.
Our thoughts are with Chris’ family and we thank him for giving fans a memorable character in the franchise as well years of entertainment in television and film.
