Friday The 13th Fan Film 'Never Hike Alone' New Images, 2nd Trailer Details And More

This past May, we helped debut one of the best looking trailers for a Friday The 13th fan film we've seen in a long time with Womp Stomp Films' Never Hike Alone. The trailer (watch here) has a very unique style and energy that could lend to a very interesting setup for a classic, yet very effective stalk and slash film.

Last September, Womp Stomp films ran a Kickstarter campaign to gather additional funding to complete production. Unfortunately, the campaign fell just short of what was needed. The production forged on, however, and now coming next Friday (Friday The 13th) a new Kickstarter will begin with a goal of just $13,000. More great news for next Friday is that the second trailer will debut for Never Hike Alone! Womp Stomp will be releasing the film online for free in Summer 2017.

Check out new images from the production below and visit our site on Friday The 13th to see the debut of the new trailer and get details on how to contribute to the new Kickstarter!

Never Hike Alone will follow the story of KYLE MCLEOD (Andrew Leighty), an avid backcountry hiker who, while on a solo backpacking trip, discovers the long lost remains of CAMP CRYSTAL LAKE. Ignoring the campfire stories from his childhood, Kyle’s curious nature draws him in to see what is left of the camp, which has been closed since the infamous 1980 Friday the 13th murders.

Kyle’s search of the camp turns deadly when he is attacked by Camp Crystal Lake's last remaining resident, JASON VOORHEES. Stranded alone in the middle of the wilderness with a legendary mass murderer on his heels, Kyle’s survival skills will be put to the test like never before. Will he make it out of the woods alive or become another victim of the infamous cursed camp?
