All Week Friday The 13th Marathon On Movies! Network

Although we are still two weeks away from the first and only Friday The 13th date of 2016, the Movies! Network is in the midst of their own Friday The 13th marathon! They are showing the original eight films in the franchise all week as the television event kicked off this past Monday with the original Friday The 13th and continues tonight showing Friday The 13th: A New Beginning and Jason Lives: Friday The 13th Part 6.

Tomorrow night the network will air The New Blood and Jason Takes Manhattan and the week long event will culminate with an all day marathon of all eight films this Friday starting at 8:00am. I watched The Final Chapter last night and a lot of the kills were left intact. Only language found unacceptable by today's standards were bleeped out and even the scenes with nudity were left in with a blurred patch placed over the frames. These are definitely worth a watch to see how much of the film is left in place.
