The Lost Collectible Friday The 13th Prism Stickers From The 1980s

Friday The 13th collectibles are not hard to find nowadays as something new is being released every month among various companies. Some items are licensed and some are not, but the amount of collectibles available to fans in present day are astounding. That wasn't always the case, however, as when the films were the franchise's heyday back in the 1980's there were a very limited amount of merchandise to buy to celebrate Jason Voorhees. One of the more obscure collectibles to come out of the decade wasn't even on the radar of many fans until the late 1990's and that is the Selectra Prism stickers.

Selectra began producing their Prism stickers sometime around 1986 and sold them in vending machines placed in numerous stores and restaurants. At the time, no one would have thought these tiny stickers would become hot collectible items that have been known to be sold for around $100 a piece, if not more, depending on the rarity of the sticker. We have found five Prism stickers that were produced representing the Friday The 13th films, which are posted below.

There are two stickers of pseudo Jason from Friday The 13th: A New Beginning, both of which have the incorrect green color on the chevrons instead of blue. There is one sticker of the mask-less Jason Voorhees from Friday The 13th Part 7: The New Blood and the other two are form Jason Lives and Jason Takes Manhattan. The sticker from Part 8 is our favorite and is a centerpiece of many fan's collection.
