People are aware of Jason, his family, and the curse and some have even tried to stop him. No one can.
Roy Burns is one of the Paramedics first to arrive at Pinehurst to take the remains of Joey away in Friday The 13th: A New Beginning. He is a loner by nature and is shocked to find his abandoned son Joey is the victim of a brutal death. In turn, Roy dresses up as Jason and exacts his revenge on the Pinehurst residents and anyone in the surrounding area.
