Friday the 13th: The Obsession Production Update

Pre-Production is moving along swimmingly on the new web series Friday the 13th: The Obsession. Last week, we brought you news that Timberwolf Entertainment achieved their planeed production budget and were in the next stages of prepping to shoot the series. Now, they have updated fans on their next steps.

Below is the update from the official Facebook page for series.

Talked with Joe (director of Cold heart Of Crystal Lake and The Storm) today on the phone about some of the Obsession Ep 1 details. Gonna get into casting the rest of the series and finishing up the final draft of the script. Mask maker Gene Mazza is working on Jason's Mask, and the lead Hannah Townsend will be coming in to shoot images for the new poster.

Gene Mazza is well known by Friday the 13th collectors as he was one of the first people to start creating replica hockey masks to sell. There are tons of talented artists that create replicas now, but Gene was sort of a pioneer in the beginning of the hobby. So, his hock creation for the series should be epic and very unique for the web series.

Look for the new poster to premier in the coming weeks!

Obsession is about a obsessed fan of the Friday the 13th series, taking on Jason's persona, so the actual 'Jason Voorhees' is only in 2 or 3 major sequences, and in scattered visions throughout...  with the 'pseudo' Jason taking on the killings in much of the rest of it.
