Get ready for the leap into animated Friday The 13th media as Womp Stomp Films and Mako Animation bring fans a brand-new take on Jason Voorhees as they present the Never Hike Alone world in a whole new way.

Womp Stomp Films has teamed up once again with Ronin Creative to release a final trailer, offering a sneak peek at some of the short film’s bloodiest moments. Watch the Trailer Below.

About Never Hike Alone: Ghosts In The Fog

Set four years before Never Hike Alone, the story follows a group of hikers who get lost in a mysterious fog and stumble into cursed grounds, where the Ghost of Crystal Lake awaits. Will they escape the wrath of Jason, or become the latest in a long list of lost victims?

Ghosts in the Fog features a voice cast that includes Chelsea Rebecca and Zoran Gvojic from the Dead Meat YouTube channel, seasoned animation voice actor Diego Valenzuela, and a special guest narrator, Friday the 13th alum Thom Mathews, returning as Tommy Jarvis.

“This one is all about the kills,” says Womp Stomp founder and Director, Vincente DiSanti. “It’s been fun working with Beto and the animators to push the gore to places live action can’t go.”

An international co-production between Womp Stomp Films, Mako Animation, Armass Productions, and Cincescare Production. The film is co-directed by DiSanti and Rivera, with Beto Petiches serving as Animation Director, Rubí Armáss as 3D Director, and Sol Taffola as Animation Supervisor.

The project has been in development since 2022, but co-director Juan Rivera thinks it is worth the wait. “I can’t wait for other Friday the 13th fans to see it. Animation takes time, but we’re excited to finally share the film with other fans. It's worth the wait.”

669 Crowdfunding backers helped bring the first-of-its-kind animated Friday the 13th fan film to life.

Streaming goes live on the Womp Stomp Films YouTube channel on Friday, November 13th, 2026 at 8:00 PM EST.
