Crystal Lake Season 1 Streaming Numbers Show 1.3 Billion Minutes Watched!
- The series’ total runtime is about 406 minutes (6 hours 45 minutes across the eight episodes), which works out to roughly 3.3 million estimated full-series-equivalent views. This is an accumulated viewing figure, not a count of unique viewers or completers.
- Per Nielsen (week of October 19), it ranked as the #3 streaming original series and the #3 most-watched first-season series across television.
- Social metrics were also high: 1.8 billion earned impressions in the first 24 hours and more than 7.6 million video views in the first 11 days.
These figures come from Peacock/NBCUniversal internal data plus Nielsen’s weekly rankings. Peacock is U.S. only, so the numbers reflect U.S. viewing. No Season 2 renewal has been announced yet, but showrunner Brad Caleb Kane has a pretty good idea what Season 2 will look like. Hopefully, we will hear news of a Season 2 greenlight soon!
The full eight-episode season of Crystal Lake is now available to stream on most platforms, including Peacock (U.S.); also, on Sky Atlantic/NOW in the UK/Ireland, HBO Max across Europe, Middle East, and Africa, and Crave in Canada.
Crystal Lake stars Linda Cardellini as Pamela Voorhees, with Callum Vinson as young Jason Voorhees, plus William Catlett, Devin Kessler, Cameron Scoggins, Gwendolyn Sundstrom, and others (including Nick Cordileone as Crazy Ralph).
Brad Caleb Kane is executive producing Crystal Lake together with A24 and an executive producing team that includes Marc Toberoff and Victor Miller (Friday 13th LLC), Robert M. Barsamian and Robert P. Barsamian (Horror Inc.), Stuart Manashil, Tyson Bidner, Michael Lennox and Roy Lee
