Sneak Peak Of New Animated Friday The 13th Fan Film Ghosts In The Fog
From the makers of the Never Hike Alone series comes an all-new, animated chapter in the world of Friday the 13th fan films. Filmmaker Vincente DiSanti has joined forces with Juan Rivera, head of Mako Animation, to bring Ghosts in the Fog to life, an eerie, beautifully crafted animated short that takes horror fans deeper into Crystal Lake.
Premiering today, the official sneak peek showcases the grisly demise of a character named Dom, voiced by veteran actor Diego Valenzuela, alongside Chelsea Rebecca and Zoran Gvojic from the popular Dead Meat YouTube channel.
Set to release on the Womp Stomp Films YouTube channel on Friday the 13th, November 2026, Ghosts in the Fog is currently in production and promises to deliver a fresh take on the Friday the 13th mythos through the lens of 2D animation.
The short film is an international co-production between Womp Stomp Films, Mako Animation, Armass Productions, and Cincescare Productions. DiSanti and Rivera are co-directing with animator Beto Petiches, serving as the animation director.
The project was successfully funded through an Indiegogo campaign, which remains open for a limited time. Fans still have the chance to get their names in the credits or even appear in the film as missing-person posters, but those opportunities won’t last long.
