Director David Bruckner Discusses Friday The 13th Reboot On Killer POV Podcast

A few weeks ago we told our readers about a Fangoria interview with director David Bruckner, who recently dropped off of the in-development Friday The 13th reboot film. In that interview, David explains his involvement in  the project and what it was like to work on the film. Some of what he explained was the development of the mythos surrounding Jason Voorhees and the possibilities that presented for a new film. Also, for a brief moment, there was a story that took place in the 1980s, and was found footage.

Recently, David was a guest on the Killer POV podcast with hosts Rebekah McKendry, Rob Galluzzo and  Elric Kane and the trio discuss with the director his part in the new anthology film Southbound as well as his work on the Friday The 13th film. They retread some of what David discussed in the Fangoria interview, but he expounds upon past revelations to give an even more complete picture of what went down with this involvement in the project.

You can listen to the entire podcast episode below, or skip ahead to the part of the discussion that deals with Friday the 13th, which starts at the 1 hour and 20 minute mark.
