Watch This Hilarious Trailer For The Faux Film 'Friday The 13th: The Game, The Movie'

As we approach the final Friday The 13th date of 2015, I am reminded more and more how awesome fans of the franchise are with their artistic talents and the lengths they are willing to go to have fun with not only the films, but with merchandise that accompanies them. With that being said, a new film trailer that was just published may trump even NECA's original release of their Nintendo Jason Voorhees figure in terms of creativity.

The crew from Mega64 has created a trailer for a faux movie based on the infamous Nintendo Friday The 13th video game. The movie itself is said to be released in 1989, and the trailer has a very cool retro VHS look to it with bad color timing and tracking that needs to be adjusted. The fun thing about the trailer is that it touches on pretty much everything that is bad about the game and the nonsensical situations that occur. Putting these scenarios into a movie would actually be a fun thing to watch, but alas we only have a trailer.

Watch the the trailer for Friday The 13th: The Game: The Movie below and let us know what you think of this genius parody of a cult classic video game. Thanks to iHorror for making us aware of this trailer.
