These Shirts Were Used To Promote Theater Run Of Friday The 13th 2009

The enormous anticipation of Jason Voorhees and Friday the 13th returning to the big screen in 2009 prompted massive marketing and merchandising opportunities for businesses and fans. It was a win-win for everyone. Corporations made money, and fans were able to be apart of and own a piece of their beloved franchise.

Leading up to the release of Friday The 13th 2009 on February 13th, many promotional packets and items were sent to respective websites and theater chains to help amp up the hype and sell the film. One of those items was a pretty cool Camp Crystal Lake replica shirt stating the camp was established in 1980. The other promo shirt has the number 13 in blood, much like the posters released in New York City prior to the 2009 film release.

The back of the shirts have Friday the 13th written out in the new font used for the film. These shirts are just another example of fun film promotion and those that were lucky enough to get their hands on one now feel like a part of the film.
