Celebrate The 30th Anniversary Of 'Friday The 13th: The Final Chapter' Tonight!

Today marks the 30th anniversary of Friday The 13th: The Final Chapter, one of the most popular films in the franchise. Considered by many to be the bloodiest in the franchise (sans the Director's cut of Jason Goes To Hell), the first Tommy Jarvis tale hit a considerable nerve with Horror fans and is still looked upon today as one of the best the genre has to offer.

The cast, for a change, was made up mostly of actors and actresses that had previous film and television appearances on their resume which helped lend some real credibility to the character interactions on film and the terror that would follow as The Final Chapter progressed. The death scenes were particularly gruesome with not only some fiendishly inventive ways for our carefree teens to die, but the amount of blood allowed to stay on film as well as real tension created for each character's death made for a true Horror event film.

To celebrate this landmark Anniversary, please join us in our Facebook group tonight to discuss the film and everything you associate with your love of The Final Chapter. Start conversations about the film itself, post your favorite memoribilia from the film, or talk about your first experience watching the Jarvis family.

Join us tonight at 8:30 PM Cst and lets celebrate the fourth film in the franchise!
