Jason Lives: Friday The 13th Part 6 Video Store Promotional Calendar

One of the really sad parts about the fall of home video stores is that we no longer get to see the unique and creative promotional items created for patrons to see on those crazy Friday and Saturday nights. There were a number of great Friday The 13th video store displays created for promoting the film franchise in the 1980's and collecting these unique and fun items show how dedicated and passionate our readers are about Jason Voorhees and his Crystal Lake home.

Today we look at the 1987 calendar created to promote the video release of Jason Lives: Friday The 13th Part 6. The cloth calendar measures 11.5 inches by 20 inches and showcases the three Friday The 13th dates for the year. One of the fun additions to the calendar are the Paramount film titles placed on certain dates that are relevant to that film. It's a nice little touch and a nice bit of trivia.

Paramount really spared no expense for the home video releases of their films in the 1980's and the Friday The 13th films were no different. Check out the hockey mask and axe mobile video store display for Part 6 as well, and let us know what you think about this calendar and if you own it in your collection!
