Friday The 13th Actress To Co-Star In Superhero Show 'The Flash'

Fans were pretty shocked when Danielle Panabaker's character "Jenna" was killed towards the end of Friday The 13th 2009 as she exhibited that good girl next door quality that didn't do drugs or have sex and fans took a liking to her. Since Danielle's turn in the 2009 Jason Voorhees romp she has stayed very active in the Horror genre with films such as The Crazies remake and Pirahna 3DD. Last years film Girls Against Boys showed off her vulnerable and dark side and now she looks to be ready to head into a little bit of lighter fare, as much as a comic book story can hold.

According to Deadline, Danielle is signed on to co-star in the CW network's The Flash, based on the DC comics character. Read on below for more on the news and keep an eye out for more as the show develops. Congrats to Danielle on another great project!
