NECA Reveals Friday The 13th Part 3 Mego Jason Packaging

It has been a few months since NECA first announced that they would be releasing a Mego style rendition of Jason Voorhees from Friday The 13th Part 3, and a long the way they have revealed some nifty images of the figure. One of the interesting things about this release is the retro aesthetic of the figure that hearkens back to the late 1970's. We were made aware that this new Jason figure would be released sometime in October, and now Randy Faulk from NECA has unveiled the packaging for Jason via Twitter.

Feast your eyes on the packaging below. It would have been great to see this in a small box packaging like some previous Mego releases, but this is pretty cool nonetheless. We really like the Jason illustration in the woods with the moonlight and clouds in the sky on left side of the packaging! Make sure to to check your local outlets and favorite online retailers to buy Jason Voorhees from Friday The 13th Part 3 this Halloween season!

This poseable 8″ figure is dressed in tailored fabric clothing similar to the retro toy lines that helped define the licensed action figure market in the 1970s.

Jason is based on his iconic first appearance with the infamous hockey mask in Friday the 13th Part 3. He comes with machete and harpoon gun accessories, and is entirely faithful to the movie. Blister card packaging with removable protective clamshell.
