Michael Bay Aspires To Direct First Horror Film

Michael Bay started his career directing huge blockbusters like The Rock, Armageddon and Bad Boys, and soon thereafter created his Platinum Dunes producing label with fellow partners Andrew Form and Brad Fuller. The Platinum Dunes production banner has remade plenty of classic Horror films such of Friday The 13th 2009, A Nightmare on Elm Street (2010) and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003). Horror seems to be in Mr. Bay's blood as he mentions to The Hollywood Reporter recently that he has an interest in Directing a Horror film!

Michael told THR the following: "I have a great fantasy — that I will probably make a reality — of directing my own self-financed horror movie. I love this genre because the movie is the star.

Seeing his shooting style used to create a Horror film could be interesting, and what if (gulp) Bay chose his first directorial effort in the Horror realm as the Friday The 13th sequel? He could produce and direct?! We can only imagine fan's responses to that news, if it ever broke.
