Comic Book Heaven: Jason Voorhees Battling Dexter And Hack/Slash

Starting with the mid 2000's, Jason Voorhees has been involved in a number of comic story lines, most famously battling Freddy and Ash. Jason’s most recent comic adventure, Freddy vs Jason vs Ash: Nightmare Warriors, released back in 2010, was highly successful and left fans waiting for his next comic and theatrical adventure. Knowing the fans thirst for more Jason in the comics, Comics Alliance posted a very cool one shot comic page that brought Jason once again into the comic world facing off against television’s Dexter and comics ever popular Hack/Slash!

Now don’t go getting too excited. This dream matchup is just a one shot deal and is something that writer Scott Allie, artist Tim Seeley, colorist Dave Stewart and letterer Nate Piekos threw together in promoting their new comics that were released back in June 2010:

From Comic Alliance
This completely unofficial and unpublished outing just so happens to synch up with Allie and Seeley’s respective June 9 releases of “Solomon Kane: Death’s Black Riders” #4 and “Hack/Slash: My First Maniac” #1.

With each of these properties (and creators) scattered across the four corners of comicdom, it’s highly unlikely and probably impossible that this story will ever hit stands, but it’s nice to see that even busy pros can make time to create with friends for kicks.

This may be old news to some of our readers, but we are pretty confident that there are many fans that never had the opportunity to see this and we hope you enjoy. Check out the awesome mini comic sheet below. Would everyone like to see this in a full comic series?
