  1. It's hard to pick one Jason incarnation to be a favorite, since I'm a fan of all things F13. But since we have to choose one here, I'd say the reboot Jason is my favorite look. He just really looks the meanest of all the Jasons (without being a zombie).

  2. Jason Goes To Hell is my favorite look for Jason. Love the hock melted into his face and the exposed spine!

  3. The New Blood Jason is the best, love the look of the make-up in this film, shows all of the wounds from every movie!

  4. I like New Blood as well but my favorite is part 8 Jason Takes Manhattan. There's something about his look from that one with the yellow tinted mask and his slimey underwater wet look, I also loved his toxic waste look at the end.

  5. I'm torn between Part 2/Part 3 Jason..I'll go with Part 3 Jason on this one..I Love the clean Hock look in Part 3. This Jason set the mold for the future Jasons. Not to mention he just looks flat out menacing!

  6. This is a tough one but i think i am going to go with Final Chapter Jason. In this film he was simply more intelligent and planned out each attack which made him scarier and more menacing, especially since he walks in the majority of the film and when he starts chasing trish from the party house to her house......talk about scary.

  8. Very tough to decide between Part 3 and Part 7 and Remake. But when it goes right down to the line, I have to say Part 7. Kane brought so much anger and a different type of personal violence we hadn't seen SINCE part 3(not to disparage all the other fine Jason between them, they were wonderful). But Kane definitely brought a new kind of intensity that absolutely worked for the character.

  9. In my opinion the image below is without a doubt the most powerful still featuring Jason. His command of the situation. When he bust through the RV's door, pulls himself up and stands on top of the world (metaphorically). An unstoppable force in Part 6.

  10. Richard Brooker as Jason in Part 3 is my favorite and in my opinion the best Jason. He shows so much rage and just enjoys killing these stupid kids! :)

  12. I'll probably be alone on this but my favorite Jason  would  be the fake Jason (Roy) from  Friday the 13th: A New Beginning.

  13. This was a tough one as I went back and forth between the Jason's of Parts 3 and 4... but I'll go with Jason from The Final Chapter.  The simplest of mannerisms that Ted White brought to his performance still brings chills up my spine to this day. He gave a menacing, powerful performance that was creepy and still stands the test of time.

  14. Kane Hodder was the best and only Jason.

  15. I know it's a controversial opinion, but I really have to go for Jason X. Granted, the movie wasn't all that it could be, but after film after film of the same things over and over again, it was a breath of fresh air to see them try something different. Sadly, what worked in New Nightmare didn't work so well in Jason X, but his look was different while remaining recognizable and the tongue in cheek nods to the audience were actually quite appreciated, so yeah - I gotta vote for Jason X.

  16. This is my favorite version. Its the original badass. this is when he was just a living man, not a zombie,or a shapeshifter. This is Jason at his best. He takes an axe to the dome and still comes back for round 2...

  19. Jason in Friday the 13th Part 7 the New Blood looked great from all angles! He was the most thoughtfull version created. So much detail was put into the look. He really looked like he had been in the bottom of the Lake for a long time....and acording to Kane, he was!!!

  20. Ari's Jason had an earie presence to him, especailly since he was only seen in siloetes at first. When his mother goes on her rampage, it's almost like she can hear his voice telling her to kill.I always thought the 'Ki Ki Ma Ma' was what little Jason's voice actually sounded like.  .

  21. The Jason Voorhees from part 4 is my favorite. I thought Ted White did a great job playing Jason and I think this movie is one of the best in the series personally. Tom Savini also did a great job on the special effects as shown in this picture.

  22. This picture is one of the coolest pics of Jason Voorhees I have ever seen. Even though it's difficult, I choose this version of Jason to be "My Jason." My reasons, in no particular order...

    1) This was the first Jason movie to really grab my imagination. I was around 10-11 when this film came out... While I had seen some horror movies previously, including Friday the 13th films, it was when Showtime first started showing this movie that I became a huge fan of the franchise. I remember catching it late one night, on my small black and white TV... I was supposed to be in bed...and WHOA...Jason just stood there. Undead. Unmovable. Holding a fence post in his hands... looking down on his next victims. As a kid, it was like he was looking at me...WHOA...

    2) Jason went undead. I found out later he was more alive in the earlier films. That was cool... but this was when I first started to get into monster/horror movies.

    3. I love the way Nathan Millner draws Jason Voorhees. I know Jason is not Nathans, favorite horror villain.... but his art and style, were made to draw Jason. This was the cover to a HHW Con exclusive. I LOVE it...

I love Jason Lives. 'nuff said. :O)
