SideShow Part 3 Jason Delivered Home!
On August 13th, 2010 Sideshow Collectibles unveiled their plans to produce a new 23 inch statue of Jason Voorhees from Friday the 13th Part 3. Two versions of the statue were made available for pre-order at that time. There is a regular version of Jason which had an attached hockey mask and axe in hands and while the Exclusive statue came with interchangeable hands, heads and weapons.
The Exclusive Jason Voorhees statue sold out quickly and collectors have been eagerly awaiting their shipment to arrive in August. Since the month is now here, fans have begun receiving their statues and we have some of the first images of the packaging, accessories and the statue itself outside of production and marketing photos.
Forum member "Marky" posted the following Exclusive Statue images at the SideShow Freaks forum late last night and we really like the box and packaging that Sidehow put together for the statue. The production print looks cool and the accessories all come together quite well to give collectors and fans of the 3D film classic something to display proudly in their home. Awesome! I like the fact that they added real fabric for the clothes. I do have to say that the the tiny amount of extras does not justify getting the Exclusive. I think Jason looks just fine with the axe in hand!

ReplyDeleteA Shelly figure would be awesome!!! You could have two different versions, wetsuit Shelly and then regular Shelly. Wetsuit Shelly could have the harpoon and hockey mask!
