Savini Back For More Gore In Film

A few horror websites are breaking the story that an article for an Australian news company has revealed that Tom Savini has unretired to help supervise FX on two upcoming films: Redd, Inc. and Mary Doe. Friday the 13th fans would love for Tom to come back to that series!

Redd Inc. Will be directed by Daniel Krige, and has a group of strangers wind up in an office and are subjected to many acts of violence from a wrongly-convicted serial killer. Savini is rumored to have a cameo in the film. The other film, Mary Doe, a zombie tale, is looking for funding and look to film soon under the direction of Nick Nicolaou.

    I think he should get back into the effects game and help with a revolution back to the old days of all practical effects in horror films!

    I agree! I hope we can get Mr. Savini to stay in the game and snag him for the next Friday the 13th sequel. Wishful thinking I know, but we need him again!
