Jason Voorhees Referenced On Jeopardy

It's always fun to see the Friday the 13th series referenced in mainstream media outlets. It is especially entertaining to see the franchise make its way onto daytime television. Well, on the February 1, 2011 episode of the long running show Jeopardy, Jason Voorhees made an appearance to the surprise of many fans and viewers.

At first this question seems way too easy to answer. However, if one was to really think about it, there are a lot of casual movie fans that might mistake Jason Voorhees for another killer in another movie. Sometimes you have to step outside of being a genre fan and look into a situation from the outside. At any rate, it is great to see the reference to Jason make its way onto a very respectable television show such as Jeopardy!
